There is a lot to the story of beer … the brewing industry contributes just under $14 billion to the Canadian economy. Of this, a total of $4.3 billion is provided to federal, provincial and municipal governments in taxes.
Brewing is also major job generator. The employment impact due to the production, marketing and sale of Canadian beer generates more than 205,000 jobs, or 1.2% of all jobs.
